Learning to play the guitar seemed like such an impossible feat. I always wanted to play but didn’t think it was possible for me. Taking lessons from Jacob was my first step into this goal of mine and I am so grateful I did!

Jacob breaks down scary concepts and techniques into bite-size, manageable pieces. He knows how to take a difficult chord or strumming pattern and teach it in a way that is understandable for even the slowest beginner. He is understanding and very precepting; if you are having trouble with a technique he will watch you play and can pinpoint where the issue or struggle is stemming from.

I would definitely not be at the point I’m at today without Jacob’s guidance. I highly recommend him for anyone wanting to learn to play the guitar or improve their skills.

I really enjoy my lessons with Jacob and have been able to make a lot more progress than I have in the past. Jacob is able to identify ways to challenge my skill set and help me push past plateaus in my skill set as a guitar player. Jacob gives me a solid practice schedule for the week so that I come to each practice as a better musician.

Jacob performed for our wedding and was a pleasure to work and listen to him do what he does best. He really cared about fulfilling our requests to have the wedding of our dreams. His mixture of Spanish guitar and Jack Johnson (our request, meant to be played once we were walking back together down the aisle) made our wedding so special and gave it just the touch of magic we needed. I would hire him all over again if I had to plan my own wedding once more!
